NC Operator

Job Overview:

We are looking to hire an experienced CNC Operator to help us grow our CNC machine program. This person will be an intricate part of our machine shop and our future growth. This person will help convert manual operations to CNC as well as grow and design future machine applications. This person will be working with other operators as well as management to solve problems and create new solutions.


- Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality

- Understanding of tooling needed for particular material and machining applications

- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines when they arise

- Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications

- Work with and train operators

- Convert manual machine operations to CNC

- Assistance in designing and machining tooling for production cells

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

- Must have a good working knowledge of CAD software

- Must have a strong attention to detail

- Good problem solving skills

- Ability to work with others to solve problems and give feed back

- Must have written and verbal skills

- Basic knowledge of machine shop safety

Education & Experience

- 1-2yrs Experience as CNC operator

- Previous machine shop experience working with CNCs

- Associates degree in CNC programming or similar field

- Previous work experience with Haas, SolidWorks, & CamWorks a plus
